Several Customer Quilts I've Quilted Recently

Applique Christmas Quilt

Terri M. is finishing up projects. She brought me four things to quilt recently. This lovely Christmas applique quilt is the first one Glinda and I quilted for her. I used a new design I purchased recently called Holiday Garland for this one.

Colorful Squares on Point Quilt

The second project Terri M. brought in recently for quilting. I used our Bluster quilting design for this one which is just a good, swirly geometric design.

Colorful pieced quilt

This is the third quilt from Terri M. that she dropped off recently for quilting. I used our Loose Scrolls design for this one and it turned out great!

fall themed placemats

The is the last project from Terri M. that she dropped off recently for quilting. This is a set of 8 placements. Terri wanted Soft 'n Stable for her batting. This is the first time I tried using Soft 'n Stable for batting. It worked just fine but I did learn a few things. I should have opened up the Soft 'n Stable the night before the let it relax a bit. Will definitely do that next time!

Kaleidoscope Quilt 2 with blue background and other blocks

Karen C. brought me these similar quilt tops to quilt up for her. Glinda and I were happy to do that for her!

I've been very busy quilting for customers. I am accepting mailed projects so even if you aren't local I am still happy to quilt something for you. All I ask is that you let me know when you've mailed the box so that I can be on the lookout for it. I'll let you know when it arrives. How to Make a French Knot Video

The French Knot is a basic embroidery stitch that many people struggle to perfect. I recently did a short video on how to make a French Knot.

If the video above does not play for you here is the link to it on my YouTube Channel: French Knot Demo

If you are interested in viewing or purchasing any of the kits I show, you can find all our embroidery items at this link:

I made up one of these adorable kits for a shop sample. I chose the owl kit. Below you can see what comes in the kit. You have plenty of everything in these kits. Seriously, all you need to add is scissors and maybe a marking pen/pencil if you want. Even a needle is included in the kit.

some of what is in the owl kit

I used pretty much all of the gray felt as that is the body of the owl, but I have a good bit of everything else left over. So you don't need to worry about these kits being skimpy on the materials.

the rest of what you get in the owl kit

Here is my completed little owl.

Luau M50 Mystery Quilt

I am preparing for the next Mystery Five-0 mega mystery called Luau.

M50 Luau mystery logo

The first clue comes out on March 4, 2026. If you like mystery quilts and you aren't familiar with Mystery Five-0, you should check it out.

Mystery Five-0 Information

The Mystery Five-0 mystery program is a little different than others. First, the kits are not a mystery. You get to see the exact fabrics that are included in your kit. I know what the finished quilt looks like and I have instructions provided by M50 so that I can pick fabrics for my kits that will work beautifully together in the finished quilt. Second, if you prefer to sew from your stash that is not a problem with these mysteries. You do have to sign up, but you'll get information about the fabrics required so that you can pick from your stash. For each of the mega mysteries (these are the ones you have to register and pay for), the clues are emailed to you once a week for four weeks. The fifth week you get the reveal clue that shows you how to put your units together. Every mega mystery comes with two layouts. You decide which one you want to do or you can do your own thing. We have a private Facebook group for sharing our progress and asking questions. There are also weekly videos that go with each clue to show you how to make the unit for the clue. The videos are shared only in our private Facebook group. In addition to the mega mysteries, M50 also does FREE mini mysteries. The mini mysteries are done only in the private Facebook group, but all the clues stay in the group so you can still access all the free mini mysteries from last year, plus the one we did in January in the group.

Join our Private Facebook Group

There are three questions you must answer AND you must agree to the group rules in order for me to approve your request to join the group. The next FREE mini mystery will be in May 2026.
