This is the first of three tops I will be making from a pile of pre-cut 4.5" squares I found in a recent sewing room clean-up.
I paired each novelty print square with a solid gray (Kona Ash) square. This top used 60 print squares and 60 solid squares. It went together quickly once I had them sewn in pairs. The pairs were sewn together as a Leader and Ender project. I blogged about this project just last month on August 14th. Click here to read that post. The second half of the post is about this project. It still amazes me how quickly I can get a second project done while working on something else using the Leader and Ender method.
The next order of business is to get it quilted and finished up.

Love the Kona Ash with the novelty. Think I might start cutting four and a half inch squares and get sewing.
