What do you think?

I made up this quilt top a week or so ago, but wasn't really happy with the contrast stripe.

Today I made a new contrast stripe by reversing the placement of the two fabrics. So which do you like better?

I know which one I prefer. I just pinned the dot background with slate accent contrast stripe over the finished top to cover the original contrast stripe. I'm trying to decide if it is worth ripping out the original contrast stripe to replace it, or should I just leave it. What do you think?

I don't know. I liked the way you had it originally. Maybe if I saw a full picture I would feel differently. What didn't you like about it?

Ah geeze, that's tough - I like them both. I know, I'm no help o:)

I like the original, too. I think this would be a very striking quilt laying on a bed.

I like the original; but I love the switched one.
I had a wild thought too. try folding the replacement strip in half lengthwise and lay it over the "bottom" half of the blue one. If you like it, you could just cut it in half and sew it over the other part. (unless you just love ripping.)

I like them both. My first thought was consistent with Caroll....can I see the whole quilt? You could use whichever one you don't use on the back. haha! I think it depends on how dominant you want the blue to be.....

I like the 2nd one, but I like Mama Pea's idea to use the other on the back.
