I keep a bucket in my sewing room for storing any leftover bits of binding.
When it overflows, I make scrappy binding.
I use this to bind scrap quilts. I make a lot of scrap quilts. If the binding is already made and ready to use, I find that I am more likely to use it and finish things rather than letting them wait.

Such a great idea! I am definitely going to start a binding bucket in my sewing room. Thanks for sharing1
Great idea. Wish I could get that organized. I do put them in the proper color bin. However, I like your idea of using these for scrap quilt bindings. I have to start a binding bucket!
That's such a great idea! I enjoy your blog quite a bit, thanks for sharing!
I have pieces of bindings in several places. I should get them all together and make a scrappy binding.

Great idea. I keep min extra binding on antique apools. But then I never seem to use it. I should sew it together like you do so I'd use it.
