Two more charity quilts finished this week. These are the mystery blocks from my guild's February retreat. I blogged about them originally here. The first quilt in this earlier post is yet to be quilted. The second is finished and has already been donated. Details on that one were posted here.
Both finished at 42.5" by 50.5" and are quilted the same, a big stipple or meander. My guild meets tomorrow and I will turn these in then.

Both quilts are just delicious eye candy and whoever is fortunate to get these quilts will no doubt be delighted by the happy colors.
Applause, applause!
What charity do the quilts go to? I am full of admiration for quilters who do quilts for charity. It takes me all my time to keep up with my own quilts!
But one day I intend to become more involved in charity sewing.
Quilts for the hospital for premmie babies appeals.
@merinz: You are a no-reply blogger so I couldn't respond to you personally but I'll answer your question here. These quilts are being turned into my guild's Helping Hands chairperson. She then gives the quilts to one of several local groups: (1) the hospital for new babies or kids who have to undergo a sexual abuse exam, (2) the local sheriff's department for the officers to carry in their vehicles and handout to kids who need some comfort or the the local Victim's Advocates office for their work, and (3) the dialysis center. These are the three main beneficiaries of our quilts but we have also given quilts to local foster kids and other groups who could use a quilt for whatever reason.
I love them, Lynn. I made a small quill by this pattern once.
Lovely quilts. It is so rewarding to make quilts for charity, both to the giver and receiver. I admire your talent.
Looks great! I repeat....me=slug.
Thank you Lynn for your reply. Great causes and the quilts will be treasured by the recipients!
