Charity Finish

Here is the charity quilt I was working on last week. It was my last finish of 2012 since I put the last stitches in the binding on New Year's Eve.

It has taken me a little while to get a good picture of it because it has been so cold here. It was 13 degrees F when I took this photograph last weekend at about 1 pm. I had to put on snow boots to get to the photo spot on our fence in the backyard.

We have had some record lows recently. Click here to read an article in our local paper about our recent cold temperatures.

I love this quilt. I forget, but didn't you design it yourself? Maybe you could do a tutorial. What a wonderful gift to charity!

Just FYI: the pattern is from the book "Graphic Mixx" by Terry Atkinson. She calls it Bohemian Stripe in the book and this one is the lap size version of the pattern.

You've had the perfect weather to stay indoors and quilt. Minus 30? Oh brrrr.

Great job! Is that another version of that other quilt similar to this that you did? It's great. Hope it's warming up for you! Brrrr!
