I learned a new method for making the base of these pin cushions.
I tried it out in making the one above. I made it pretty early this morning, too early for a brighter photograph, but you get the idea.
The tutorial is on the Riley Blake Designs website. They have a whole page of pin cushion tutorials. I used this tutorial to make the one shown above.
Spooky helped.
She wasn't much help. She supervised me hand sewing the button on. I had to physically remove her from my sewing table to sew the back onto the pin cushion. Good thing she is so cute!
