My sewing agenda for today is to finish this up.
I need to square it up, cut a backing and attach the backing using the pillowcase method. Once I turn it right side out and give it a good press it will be done.
This is a white on black version of a previous art group project. Click here to see the black on white ones I did. Our plan is to mount all these as one piece.
It was fun filling in the various areas with stitching. Black thread on a black background is difficult to photograph though.

This is so interesting. I'm eager to see them together. I love how you have quilted it. This would give you lots of practice on free motion quilting. Great idea!
