I got the coloring part done over the weekend.
I may add some more gray to the boot, but overall I'm pleased with it so far. The next step is the fun part - the embroidery! I'm going to use the Cosmo embroidery floss the pattern calls for instead of rummaging through my stash of DMC floss. I have heard that Cosmo is a nicer quality floss than DMC. I'll let you know my opinion after I've had a chance to use it.

So, was the coloring hard? I'm really not good with that so that part scares me a little. I'm very interested in your opinion on the Cosmo floss.
It's looking fabulous!
The colors look awesome! I can really see how the design is already coming to life.
Looks awesome! I wish I could color so lightly. I always have such a heavy hand with the crayon or colored pencil. :-) I am missing the Cosmo floss as I work on my Hazel's Garden quilt. The DMC tangles on me all thetime. Every time it does, I find my self cursing myself for not using Cosmo on this. I'll post photos of it tomorrow, I hope!
