Yet another favorite photo, also from our trip to Hobbit Beach along the Oregon coast.Today was the first day of my Spring courses. It was hectic. I hope things go better this semester than they did last semester. I think I did a better job of describing my expectations of the students to them though. One person got up and left about 10 minutes into going over the syllabus, shortly after I said that they would need to spend an average of 9 hours per week working on the course and if their schedule would not permit them to commit that much time to this course then they should change to a different section.
