Even though Lily is loud and squeaky, I've begun piecing my Puzzle Quilt. My mom sent me the colored fabrics already precut. I cut the few solid black pieces I'll need yesterday.
I've only laid out three rows and sewed a couple of the seams so far. It's not a difficult quilt to make but it does require placement planning.
Head over to Susan's at Blackberry Creek Home Arts to see what the other little green quilters have been doing this week.

I think I like this pattern better than the puzzle quilt I made. And some of my fabrics didn't contrast enough. Can't wait to see yours finished.
This is SO cute! I can certainly see that planning is essential.
Looking forward to seeing this quilt grow.
Cheers!
I love this quilt!!! Is there a pattern?

That's kind of neat! I think I have a pattern for something similar to that. I haven't made it yet. I bought it because I thought it would be a good baby quilt for a little boy.
I would so love this pattern....
I like the purple puzzle piece close to the center the best. :) Looks like it's coming along.
What a fun pattern. I have not seen a puzzle quilt before, that I can remember. Really cute idea. And hey! I just noticed this in your about you section...I am a PEO, as well. Cool! Although math is not my strong suit. I could do it pretty well, but word problems made me believe I wasn't good at it. I kept getting caught up in the story. ha! Hugs!
Thanks for the pattern info.!!
Deborah
