My friend Vicki is another hand-dyer. She wanted a hand-dyed clothesline tote like mine, but didn't want to make it herself. We worked out a deal and I made her tote.
This is what I started with.
And here is the finished tote.
It turned out fabulous!
Now that her tote is finished I can start on the one she hand-dyed for me.

I think hand dying clothesline is a great idea for your bags. I not wait until you have a pattern for the bag. they look great.
