Sunday Afternoon Playdate

The boy has a friend over for an end of summer sleep over. I'm taking the opportunity to play with Hattie.

I'm quilting my disappearing 4 patch.

The photo above shows the back side of the quilt so the quilting will show in a photograph. Click on any image to see it larger. Below is a reminder of what the front looks like.

Beautiful quilting!! I hope someday to quilt as lovely as that.

I'm Linda, the one that is co-hosting the Little Forest Quilt Along with Stephanie of Peas in a Pod. You asked her about not having the seam down the middle of the tree. That's the same thing I thought about. You could cut the tree out whole and applique them, then zig-zag or appligue stitch on your machine. If you need help with it let me know and I'll do my best to show you how.

Glad you're getting some sewing time in! You are an amazing quilter. I can't believe how you come up with these great designs. That quilt's going to be just great! Hope your first day back was good!

I love the quilting! You need to add your quilt to The Quilted Fish pool on flickr.
