MyPad Needle Keeper Set

I have a new product in my shop that I think is very useful for both quilters and general sewists. It's called the MyPad Needle Keeper Set.

I made a short video explaining what it is, how it works and why you might want one.

If the video above doesn't play for you right here then click this link to watch it in Youtube: MyPad Needle Keeper Set Video

If you don't feel like watching the video I'll tell you about it. The MyPad Needle Keeper Set helps you to stay organized. Our version comes with 6 different styles of needle (80/12 Universal, 80/12 Microtex, 80/12 Super Nonstick, 90/14 Topstitch, 90/14 Quilting, and 90/14 Jeans), plus a flower head pin to hold the place of the needle that you are using in your machine, the Schmetz needle guide that explains the different styles of needles and when you should use them, and an Aurifil brochure that explains the various kinds of Aurifil threads.

The idea is that you put your needles into the foam MyPad Needle Keeper in the appropriate spot. The foam is very easy to slide the needle into and is thick enough that if you slide it in pretty flat the point does not poke out the back. The flower head pin goes in the spot for the needle that is in your machine - so you can know what needle size and type you have in your machine. The thread guide and needle guide that come with this set are brand specific, but the information is fairly universal. So if you struggle with what needle to use with what size thread or fabric type, this might help.
