Spring Snow

Another spring snow storm is moving through our area. We got at least 6 inches of snow last night. As I write this morning, it is still snowing lightly. The forecast calls for another 4 to 6 inches today. We'll just have to wait and see what actually happens.

I always feel sorry for the birds when it snows.  These finches have been enjoying the sunflower seeds we put out for them this morning. I took these pictures from an upstairs window overlooking the feeder. I just love the colors of the little guy's back in the first photo!

Off to work today. These photos may be the only creative thing I get to do today. *sigh* Hope you get to be creative today!

Just beautiful. Although sometimes snow in the spring is a bummer (because you are ready to be done with snow), it is so beautiful. These birds are just fantastic. Thanks for sharing!

Those are houses finches, sometimes called purple finches. They are abundant here.
